Omar Khayyam is a universal genius on the same scale as Leonardo da Vinci, and born just as out of date. The world's greatest observatory, built by him, was closed during his lifetime. The most accurate calendar he developed was soon replaced by the traditional one. The poems written by him corresponded to the thinking of a completely different (our) era, and therefore were not popular and survived thanks to literally a few admirers with a “perverted” taste, a miracle found in every century.

Omar Khayyam is a famous oriental poet, philosopher and scientist who lived and worked in the Middle Ages. He became famous for the weight of the world, primarily due to his "hacks" - unique quatrains with a deep and ambiguous meaning. Omar Khayyam's aphorisms have attracted the attention of many eminent researchers and literary critics for centuries.

Rubai is one of the most complex genre forms of Tajik-Persian poetry.
The volume of the rubai is four lines, three of which (rarely four) rhyme with each other.
