Chess H5: Talk & Voice control

Chess H5 is a talking chess app with a voice control feature allowing players to move chess pieces by voice commands or phrases. The app includes the powerful Stockfish v14 chess engine which provides different levels of gameplay and chess strategy from beginner all the way up to grandmaster. The app also allows players to play chess online, against users from across the globe. The chess app provides stats to help users monitor their progress; beginners can use stat info to start their journey on becoming a proficient chess player.

Extra features include:

• Talking chess game: If enabled announces moves and game state & can also announce players entering or leaving the online game lobby.

• Voice control: You can play your moves by voice command or phrases (English language only). Note this feature can be impacted by factors such as the microphone quality of your device and the background noise in your environment. A good quality earphones with mic is recommended.

• NEW activate voice control on face detection, requires a front facing camera and is a paid add-on (£$...).

• Powerful Stockfish v14 AI: Play against the computer and face different levels of game play from beginner all the way up to grandmaster. Increase difficulty level from 1 - 20 but that's not all, you can give the AI a higher think-time causing it to make more proficient moves.

• Difficulty level can be changed throughout the game as well as computer think time.

• Beginner AI: A new AI opponent has been added for beginners to play against, to help them learn and get started.

• Supports many screens: Chess H5 supports many screen sizes but has also been adapted to make sure you can play on android TV and other devices with odd display sizes.

• Save games: You can save a chess game at any point and come back to it or watch a replay.

• Player stats: Helps monitor your progress by automatically recording your wins, losses and drawers you have against the computer and against online players.

• Buy add-ons: You can buy items from the 'buy items' section of the app for extra features. Like shake device to activate voice command, now comes with an adjustable shake, force level setting.

• Online multiplayer: Play against other users from across the globe, you can view a players wins, losses & draw stats to help you select a suitable match.

Here at Game Hands our main priority for the Chess H5 app is to develop new exciting and sometimes wacky ways of playing chess. We look at the current hardware available on mobile devices and try and find innovative ways of using them to play chess. We have a lot more features coming out in the near future and have only just begun our journey in this endeavour.
