1. Notify/silence/block spam phone numbers
When a call or text message is received from a spam phone number such as advertising or voice phishing, notification/silence/blocking works through real-time inquiry. (However, only text messages are available for notification.)

2. Alert/silence/block alert phone number
Even for phone numbers that have not been reported as spam, 'Caution' can be displayed according to activity and similar numbers, and can be silenced/blocked according to the warning level.

3. Notify important/location phone numbers
You can not miss it because it informs you of important / place phone numbers such as customer service centers and restaurants. (If you are not registered, you can register yourself.)

4. Offline DB provided free of charge (dual SIM supported)
You can block spam phone numbers more effectively (even in dual SIM) through an offline DB that is automatically updated every day. (Update is also possible only under Wi-Fi.)

5. Lightweight with essential features
It provides only the essential function of blocking spam, so it can be used lightly without being heavy. We didn't add features that users didn't even need.

Information on previous text notifications
After Android 13 (Galaxy OneUI 5.0) update, there is a phenomenon that when receiving a text message, the previous text message instead of the most recent text message works as a real-time inquiry window. It has been fixed in version 1.14.25, please update to the latest version.

Information about app not working
Starting from Android P(9), if 'Run in the background' of the app is restricted, the app's functions, such as the real-time inquiry window and phone blocking, may not operate normally. Please enable [Applications] - [The Call] app - [Battery] - [Run in background] in the device settings, or enable [Exclude battery optimization] in the app settings.

Guidelines on disabling blocking
If the 'Android security patch level' of Android O (8.0) is April 2018 or later, the access right to the 'hang up function' may be blocked and the 'call blocking function' may not operate normally. Since the phone number that is 'blocked' is also not blocked, please use 'silent mode' for Android M (6.0) or higher.

Additional Information - From version 1.10.0, blocking spam calls due to security patch is automatically replaced with silent. You can check whether the blocking function is used when setting up blocking and blocking spam calls.
Additional Information - Android P(9) from version 1.13.8 and Android 10(Q) from version 1.13.9 support the call blocking function through new permissions and methods.

Information about delay in real-time search window operation
When cleaning the entire memory (RAM) through the 'memory (RAM) cleanup' app (such as the 'Device Care' app of the Samsung Galaxy series), the operation of the 'real-time inquiry window' may be delayed by restarting the app. Please add The Call app to 'Excluded apps' in the 'Memory (RAM) Cleanup App' you are using.

Additional Information - 'Galaxy Labs' of the Samsung Galaxy series - If 'Auto Optimization' of 'Battery Guardian' is turned on, The Call app is automatically added as a 'Power Saving App' and the 'Real-time View Window' may not operate normally. Please add The Call app to 'Do not optimize apps' in 'Battery Guardian' or enable [Exclude battery optimization] in the app settings.

Information on the delay of notifications at the top
If the notification at the top appears after a while when using Android 11 on the Samsung Galaxy series, add the Call app to [Battery and device care] - [Battery] - [Background usage restrictions] - [Exceptions for power saving] in the device settings, or Please enable [Exclude battery optimization] in the app settings. (Please disable [Battery] - [Battery management] - [Manage apps automatically] in the default Android device settings.)

The Call requires only minimal access rights. (For Android M (6.0) or higher) Access is required only to use the function, and you can use the app even if you do not allow it.

Since the consent method for the Android operating system has changed significantly since version M (6.0), please use the software update function in the smartphone to check if the operating system of your smartphone can be upgraded to Android M (6.0) or higher, and then upgrade. Also, even if the operating system is upgraded, the access rights agreed to by the existing apps do not change, so to reset the access rights, you must delete and reinstall the already installed apps.
