On the other hand, many countries were competing to develop weapons that used Orkiki, and the continent was in turmoil as the motives of the countries aiming for hegemony intertwined.

In such an era, Liberl, a small country that maintains its proud independence between the great powers.
With that release as the stage, the human drama between the main character Estelle and the various people surrounding her unfolds, and Estelle grows greatly as a bracer and as a human being.

Those who have the primary goal of protecting the safety of civilians and the peace of the region, and are engaged in exterminating magical beasts and preventing crime.
Bracers, who acted from a neutral standpoint without belonging to a specific nation, were also a dream occupation for young children.

Estelle, a girl who lives near the city of Rolent in the Kingdom of Liberl and whose father is a bracer, is also one of those who aspired to become a bracer.
Together with Joshua, who had grown up like her brother and sister, she devoted herself to training to become a bracer.

One day, a letter arrives at Esther's father, Cassius.
After reading the letter, Cassius says that he has an urgent business and leaves Esther and Joshua behind.

The two, who had become quasi-bracers (apprentices), were to take on the work as bracers that Cassius was supposed to take on instead.
