Oceana Music & Sounds

Learn about marine animals and listen to the sounds they make.

Aside from the informational purposes, this app is meant to accompany symphonic performances of Stella Sung’s composition, OCEANA. Audience members are requested to download the app to their mobile devices prior to a concert. They can then scroll down and listen to each animal sound. During the course of the concert and live performance of the piece, the audience will be cued as to when they would activate the app, choose the animal sound(s) of their choice, and have this play alongside the orchestra’s performance. Audience members will be encouraged to raise their mobile devices in solidarity for awareness of marine conservation.
