• What is the whistle app?
  The Whistle device attaches to your pet's collar and, through an app, makes it easy to track your pet's location, distance traveled, activity, rest, and much more. Powered by At&T & Google maps, Whistle gives you reliable and accurate nationwide tracking right from your phone.
• How does Whistle app work?
  By combining the power of GPS, Wi-Fi, cellular technology, and pet science, Whistle trackers give pet parents the power to pinpoint where their pet is at any given time, get alerts when their pet leaves home, and even monitor and track patterns of behaviors that could point to health issues before they become problems.
• Is there a pet tracker app?
  Tractive GPS for Dogs and Cats The Tractive GPS Tracker allows you to monitor your pet's whereabouts on the map without a distance limit. Besides locating your dog or cat, the app also allows you to track your pet in real-time. (Requires a Tractive GPS tracker.)
• How much is the whistle subscription?
  The monthly subscription cost is for your Whistle GO to gain access to the AT&T cell service so you can track your pet (kind of like a mini cell phone for your pet!) For the monthly plan ($12.99/month) you will be charged each month for 12 months.
• How accurate is Whistle?
  Whistle boasts an excellent average accuracy of about 10 to 15 feet. However, the accuracy greatly depends on the conditions, primarily WiFi and cellular coverage, with limited coverage resulting in diminished precision.
• How do I download the Whistle app?
  Just download the free WHISTLE™ mobile app to your iOS or Android smartphone and stay connected to your pet from wherever you are. You'll need to be signed into your Apple or Google account in order to download the app. Please make sure to download the Whistle app with the light green logo and dark green background.
• Does Whistle work with Verizon?
  Verizon Wireless announced plans to retire its 2G CDMA network effective November 3, 2019. After this date, any device that supports only Verizon 2G will no longer function, including Whistle GPS and Tagg 1, and Tagg GPS Plus. Why is Verizon eliminating this network?
