Tokyo Ghoul: Kaneki Runner

Strange murders are happening in Tokyo. Due to liquid evidence at the scene, the police conclude the attacks are the results of 'eater' type ghouls.
College buddies Kaneki and Hide come up with the idea that ghouls are imitating humans so that's why they haven't ever seen one.

Ken Kaneki is the main protagonist of the Tokyo Ghoul series. He is currently Touka Kirishima's husband, and the father of Ichika Kaneki.
Previously, he was a student who studied Japanese literature at Kamii University, living a relatively normal life.
However, this quickly changed after Rize Kamishiro's kakuhou was transplanted into him and transformed him into a one-eyed ghoul.
Kaneki is the first known artificial one-eyed ghoul.

Tokyo Ghoul (Japanese: 東京喰種トーキョーグール) is a Japanese dark fantasy manga and anime series.
The story is set in a world where humans and vicious species, known as ghouls, creatures that look like normal people but can only survive by eating human flesh, live among the human population in secrecy.
The story follows Ghoul, a college student who barely survives a deadly encounter with Rize Kamishiro, his date who reveals herself as a ghoul.
He is taken to the hospital in critical condition. After recovering, Kaneki discovers that he underwent a surgery that transformed him into a half-ghoul.
This was accomplished because some of Rize's organs were transferred into his body, and now, like normal ghouls, he must consume human flesh to survive.
The ghouls who manage the coffee shop "Anteiku" take him in and teach him to deal with his new life as a half-ghoul.
The ghouls have special organs called kagune, which they use to fight. In the beginning of the story, he is an innocent human.
