Pop Gun: a Brick Breaker game about Pete.
Pete is an explorer who has studied parallel worlds.
One day, he and his team managed to open a strange portal, from which creepy creatures crawled out. They managed to deal with the creatures, but they could not seal the portal.
Pete was sentenced to life in prison and chained to the bottom of a well. Soon, other portals began to open in the world, and terrible creatures began to climb out of them and turn all the inhabitants of this world into monsters. The world is in danger of destruction.

Pete considered the consequences and wished he could fix it, but he couldn't. He had been sitting alone for 10,000 years and could not express his thoughts to anyone except in pitch darkness.
And suddenly Sophie's ball of Light descends into the well from the very top. All accumulated guilt turned into responsibility for this mysterious ball of Light. Pete instantly finds in her not just a companion, but his greatest sense of responsibility.

Sophie and Pete are the perfect team that cannot exist without each other. Pete only moves by being guided by Sophie's light, and Sophie knows that only Pete can close the portals.

Pete breaks away from the chained limb and rises up into Sophie's light to finally seal the portals and save the world from destruction.

The new Pete remembers everything before the body was torn off, so he does not remember all his countless attempts to close the portals. Therefore, you should not lose, so as not to start from the very beginning!
