Manoa

Manoa is the medicine app that helps you manage high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and sleep problems. With Manoa, you now have a personal coach by your side who is always there for you.

The app is being developed together with experts from the Hannover Medical School (MHH), the University Hospital in Zurich (Switzerland) and the University Hospital in Bern (Switzerland).

Prices and conditions
To register with Manoa, you need an access code from your health insurance company or a partner company.


How Manoa supports you in everyday life:

Interactive coaching and feedback:
Manoa helps you to document your measurements (e.g. blood pressure) in a structured way, reminds you of measurements and medication and gives you individual feedback on your measurements.

Personalised goals for nutrition, exercise and relaxation:
Get a personal health plan with individual goals and track your steps automatically with Google Fit.

Exciting and reliable information:
Answer quizzes and complete exciting knowledge lessons and self-tests based on the latest research.


That's what's in the app:

Your interactive coach
Manoa is a so-called chatbot and accompanies you through everyday life. She asks you questions in an interactive chat. Based on your answers, she suggests weekly goals. In addition, Manoa provides you with valuable information about your health.

Blood pressure monitoring
Manoa supports you in documenting your blood pressure values and reminds you of the measurements. Based on your blood pressure values, Manoa gives feedback and derives recommendations for action. You can export and send the diaries and diagrams as PDF files at any time. So you always know where you stand.

Medication
In the app, you can record medicines that you take regularly. The app reminds you to take your medication with a push message. When you have taken the medication, a goal on your daily schedule is also fulfilled. Manoa gives you weekly feedback on how well you are taking your medication and works with you to develop strategies to take your medication(s) regularly.

Blood sugar diary
If you have type 2 diabetes, Manoa helps you keep a diary of your blood sugar levels. In addition, Manoa reminds you of measurements and gives feedback and recommendations for action on measured values. You can export and send the blood sugar diary as a PDF at any time.

Sleep diary
Manoa supports you in keeping a sleep diary to get to know your sleep better. It also helps you to find your way back to sleep in the context of a sleep restriction. You can easily track the development of your sleep quality and export or send it as a PDF at any time.

Personal plan for a healthy lifestyle
You receive your personal health plan with individual goals for nutrition, exercise and relaxation. This way you will quickly experience the first successes - that motivates you!

Exciting and reliable information
Tips and fun quizzes on blood pressure, blood glucose, the correct measurement methods and sleep provide helpful information and strengthen you in the safe management of your disease. The information always corresponds to the current state of research.

The manufacturer, operator and distributor of the app is Pathmate Technologies AG. Manoa is the name of the Pathmate Coach, which is registered as a class I medical device.
