DIGITAL BASIC TREATMENT FOR ARTHRITIS
National and international research and information from international organizations state that osteoarthritis treatment should primarily consist of exercise and information about the disease (as well as weight control if deemed necessary). Everyone with osteoarthritis should be offered this treatment.

Joint Academy's digital basic treatment for osteoarthritis and joint pain includes customized training in combination with interactive education that increases understanding of the condition. Through this treatment, you as a patient are offered the right care directly, which leads to a reduction in riskier treatments such as injections and operations. Treatment structure and content follow the National Board of Health and Welfare's national guidelines for basic treatment.

COST
The cost of the Joint Academy is in accordance with the applicable patient fee. Joint Academy collaborates with Frösjö Vårdcentral in Region Sörmland and follows their rate. This means that the patient fee is SEK 0 for digital visits to a physiotherapist.

The Joint Academy can also be paid for by your insurance company. Joint Academy cooperates with several insurance companies, including SOS, Gjensidige, Folksam and EuroAccident. If you have valid insurance with them, you can contact your care planning insurance company and ask if they pay for the treatment.

ABOUT THE JOINT ACADEMY – AGREEMENT
Arthro Therapeutics AB offers care for all of Sweden through Frösjö Vårdcentral and Region Sörmland. Arthro Therapeutics AB provides the medical technology product Joint Academy.

It is your physiotherapist, alternatively their employer, who is the responsible care provider. Within the Joint Academy, the user participates in digital care meetings with physiotherapists and in an individually designed treatment program for osteoarthritis and joint pain.

The Joint Academy is an extension of the traditional healthcare system. The Joint Academy is therefore reimbursed for patient visits by the region in which you are enrolled.

JOINT ACADEMY PREMIUM
Once you have undergone the first part of the treatment, you can maintain your training through Joint Academy Premium. As a member, you have continued access to your training program and the app's most appreciated functions that make the training really happen. You also get access to new exercises, training and tips and can contact your physiotherapist when you need guidance. This allows you to continue your treatment routine and increase your results for a fee.
