Natural disasters affect hundreds of millions of people worldwide every year.
Posting of all occurrence of disasters over the internet has been a practice.
This study shifts the conventional website to application. The E-PAHIBALO
client-server android application software provides a medium for reports and
spread of disaster awareness. Individual accounts can be created by the user.
The application allows validation of reports and of necessary information
for the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office’s prompt response.
The study utilized the Rational Unified Process (RUP) Model. The RUP
development methodology provides a structured way for companies to envision
create software programs. Since it provides a specific plan for each step of
the development process. It helps prevent resources from being wasted and
reduces unexpected development costs. The system is developed with a client
and server side. The evaluation for the system’s functionality, reliability,
usability and features are given very satisfactory ratings.
