E-TANKEN App

E-TANKEN is a charging network of smartSTADTwerke GmbH & Co. KG (sSw), a partner network of several energy providers.

The sSw E-TANKEN app gives you quick and convenient access to the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. You can reach all charging stations of Stadtwerke Gießen, Stadtwerke Bad Homburg and Stadtwerke Oberursel as well as the charging stations of other regional and supraregional partners - as soon as they are connected directly or via roaming.

The overview map shows you all the charging points that are accessible to you. You can easily activate this from the app. You can also see their current availability and receive information on possible faults.

You have the option of navigating the shortest route to the charging station of your choice. In addition, you will receive all information about the currently valid usage fees.

You can manage your personal data and billing information directly in the app. All loading processes go to your personal user account; the billing is done conveniently via direct debit. In addition, past and current charging processes including electricity consumption, meter readings and costs associated with charging can be viewed live.
